Sierra 36 is the balance point of the Sierra range: an Elite gravel rim designed for fast adventure riding, mixed courses and riders who want one wheelset that can genuinely do everything.
More stable and more efficient than a 27 mm rim on fast sections, lighter and easier to move than a 42 mm when the terrain pitches up, it aims for real-world versatility. This is the profile for long routes that mix fast tracks, rough paths, steady climbs and descents that need to stay under control.
Its 36 mm profile brings a first gain in speed retention and directional stability, without imposing excessive inertia. The wheel remains lively through changes of pace, precise under load and comfortable enough for committed rides or events where the surface constantly changes.
Built with the SLR5 process, Sierra 36 combines Toray T1100 fibres, aerospace-grade resin and a high-precision lay-up. At 335 g, it offers a highly relevant weight / stiffness / reliability ratio for versatile gravel use: light enough to climb, structured enough to ride fast, robust enough to handle rough roads and broken tracks.
DRC (Dynamic Response Comfort) filters vibration without dulling efficiency. On long, buzzing gravel tracks as well as more broken sections, it helps preserve speed and reduce fatigue. SpokeCore moulded spoke holes and Offset geometry improve rim homogeneity, spoke tension balance and steering precision.
With its 28 mm internal width, Sierra 36 optimises the volume of modern gravel tyres while keeping a dynamic ride feel. It works particularly well with tyre widths around 40 to 45 mm, while remaining fully coherent with larger-volume tyres when the terrain calls for more comfort, grip and safety.
Sierra 36 is the wheel for riders who refuse to choose between adventure and speed. It does not chase an extreme: it chases the right compromise, the one that lets you link terrain, ride long and keep a margin of control when the route becomes less predictable.
