DUKE RIM SIERRA 42

Sierra 42 is the fastest option in the classic Sierra family: an Elite gravel rim for fast tracks, rolling courses and rides where the goal is to hold a high pace without stepping into the Æra universe.

Its 42 mm profile clearly marks the move towards speed. It brings more stability at pace, more continuity in sustained efforts and better efficiency on fast sections than a 27 or 36 mm rim. The logic is simple: fewer constant accelerations, more maintained speed.

Designed for fast gravel, Sierra 42 is aimed at riders who push hard on compact tracks, white roads, rough tarmac and low-elevation courses. It remains a true gravel rim: comfortable, reliable and able to deal with the terrain, but its natural home is sustained speed.

Built with the SLR5 process, Sierra 42 combines Toray T1100 fibres, aerospace-grade resin and an optimised lay-up to create a light rim for its depth. At 375 g, it keeps weight under control while offering the structure needed to ride fast, sprint and hold a line on exposed sections.

DRC (Dynamic Response Comfort) improves vertical filtering and stabilises wheel behaviour when the surface becomes rough or chattery. SpokeCore moulded spoke holes ensure a homogeneous structure; Offset geometry balances tensions and reinforces lateral stiffness, useful under powerful accelerations and high-speed line changes.

With its 28 mm internal width, Sierra 42 gives modern gravel tyres excellent support. It lets you run large sections at lower pressures to preserve grip and comfort, while controlling tyre deformation as speed rises or cornering loads increase.

Fast, stable and more direct than the lower profiles, Sierra 42 is made for rolling terrain, long fast tracks and riders looking for a performance gravel wheel without going all the way to a dedicated aero solution. A wheel to ride hard, ride long, with less elevation and more rhythm.
