This rim inaugurates a new modern geometry lower and wider with an asymmetric profile and hookless walls. The rim holes are off-center (offset) and oriented. The offset makes a better spokes brace angle. The rim is more stable and the lateral stiffness of the wheel is increased. The spoke tensions between the two sides are more balanced, which guarantees a better durability of the wheel. The hookless rim walls allow rim reinforcement and weight reduction. Anti-burp system: the tire bead is kept in position whatever its pressure, no risk of air loss in the corners. DUKE owns its manufacturing tools.
