DUKE Core CL SP Rear Hub

Core CL SP is DUKE’s more accessible hub, in a configuration dedicated to Straight Pull spokes. Offered with Standard 12x100 / 12x142 axles and a Center Lock disc mount, it uses the proven mechanical platform formerly sold under our Baron brand.

Our Core hubs are the entry point to DUKE quality, positioned below our high-end MadMax3 range. Their philosophy is simple: provide a reliable, high-performance and more accessible platform, designed for demanding builds without unnecessary complexity.

Core CL SP uses exactly the same Baron mechanical platform, whose reliability and value for money have been proven over the years.

This version uses 12x100 front and 12x142 rear axles. Its Center Lock mount makes it a natural fit for modern road and gravel builds, while the Straight Pull Ø2.5 mm interface accepts standard straight spokes in a 24-hole configuration.

Freehub engagement is handled by a steel double ratchet with 36 points of engagement. This choice prioritises simplicity, durability and consistent operation. Maintenance is intentionally straightforward, in keeping with the Core philosophy.
